They never stop serving food. Food is served as long as it's open (not sure on hours...6 am to 10 pm maybe?). But it's always vegetarian and always will be.

It is a park on Fraser between 7th and 8th that City Hall created in the 90s by bullying people out of their homes and stealing. It was originally decorated with sewer pipes meant to pass as planters and one of the cutest spots in Mount Pleasant before the Morons at City Hall decided to tear down our homes throw away our buried pets and densify into a drug addicts dream come true while leaving families scattered to better the neighborhood. Great job dumbass! It was originally named Hideous Park by the people. Why not keep it real guys.

  • Sunrise Hotel, Brief History (guest) wrote 12 years ago:
A lovely three story brick building was built at 101-103 East Hastings and opened as the Irving Hotel in 1907. By 1923 the hotel, under a new owner, changed the name to the Broadway Hotel which it was known until the name changed to the Sunrise Hotel. This area, corner of Columbia and East Hastings, had been known as a "drug corner" since after WWII.
