Gastown Steam Clock,

Hey everybody take up the whole sidewalk and intersection when you get your pictures taken by the clock because no one really uses the sidewalk anyways!
This clock is pretty old and spits out steam every quater hour. There is a conveniently located Starbucks right across the street. Once or twice a year they pull the thing apart to fix it up and it's kind of neat to see the parts all over the sidewalk.

He was a bar owner in Gastown, the first as far as I know. It's a big statue and everybody gets their pictures taken by it.

More great independent bands than I can name have played here. This is really a great spot to go see a live show. Also has a big screen TV for the hockey games and big wall sized pictures of Hank Williams, Willie Nelson and. . . someone else I can't remember right now.

This is where we shop all the time. Lots of restauraunts buy their food here too. Tons of fresh produce for a low price. Not the same variety of Chinese products that you'd find in Chinatown, more western food as well presumably to cater to people in Gastown.
